Also put on cholesteral lowering drug at the same time. My doctor and I were continually adjusting my cholesteral drug. Side effects I was experiencing: excessive pain all over my body; arms, legs, etc. Could hardly get out of bed in the morning - felt like I needed a walker - my legs felt like 2-ton bricks that I could hardly pick up. I stopped the Actonel (without my doctors advice) - low and behold. I feel 1000% better. No pain anywhere - except for general aching for a 64 year old woman - which I consider "normal". Its YOUR body - you need to do research on every drug you take and make adjustments. I thought it was because I was doing a lot of road bike riding and the goofy position you are in. It continued to the point of being debilitating. Then he put me on Evista....I've half-heartedly been taking it for 6 months and now my trigger finger is back with pain and swelling of my hands and feet. I think that skeleton frame isn't taken into account when density considered.
