After laying awake in bed with such overall aching that I could not get in a comfortable position, began thinking I should search web for possible side effects not listed in drug insert. What an eye-opener! It's a new year and I am going to stop taking to see if symptoms improve! I thought it was from my age, but I no longer have this effect since I stopped Evista! I have told friends that I felt like I had "been rode hard and put away wet!". I have upped my intake of Calcium and Vitamin D and hope my next bone density (May 08) will not say that I have lost ground. Much to my surprise I saw my exact symptons on this website. I never associated my problems with the drug as they only appeared after 3 years of medication. After two weeks off the drug - all symptons have disappeared. I can now walk and sit with no hip pain and nausea has disappeared. I will find out next month if bone density has improved.
