| 5 | Severe dry eyes | My dry eyes were so bad it caused corneal erosion! I was in discomfort day and night. I developed intolerance to contacts. My eyes were so red I looked like I had pink eye all the time. Xiidra has been nothing short of a miracle. Within a few days I was able to get through the day wearing my contacts comfortably. My eyes aren’t red! Amazing! Yes, they give you a nasty taste after use. The normal side effect is 10 or 15 mins. of blurry vision. I'm sure it works for some people, but the side effect of not being able to do anything for 3 hours a day was impossible to deal with. Also, because I am on Medicare I was going to have to pay almost $500 for a month's supply... where others are getting it free. Doesn't seem right. In terms of packaging there was barely enough for one dose (two drops).
