I usually start by taking only one and if that works, I won’t take another. Because 9x out of 10, if I take the second one...I’m in for the worst heartburn/nausea of my life. Like another person said above, I’m forced to choose between headache and heartburn sometimes when the migraine is bad enough. Generally, if I only take 1 capsule and eat a meal afterwards (and don’t take at night unless absolutely necessary) my stomach is usually fine. But if I take one at night or if I take a second one in one day...I better buckle up for the long ride bc there’s no pepto or Malox strong enough to ease the stomach pain once it starts. But, when I take excedrin, it causes the most horrible gastrointestinal side effects. I took 1 dose at 2 pm; it is now 7 pm and my stomach is very upset, I have horrible cramps and diarrhea and I have the shakes. So really, when I take this, I have to choose between the migraine or the gastrointestinal distress.
