3 | chemo nausea | No side effects | This is a new drug for delayed nausea and vomiting from chemo. My insurance made me switch from Emend to this. I have found that although i am a bit more sick on this my mind is clearer and my nausea only lasts for 4 days instead of 6 on Emend. If you have problems finding anti-emetics that work I would give this a try. | F | 44 | 2 months 180 1X O | 9/18/2016 |
VARUBI (ROLAPITANT HYDROCHLORIDE): Rolapitant is used with other medications to help prevent delayed nausea and vomiting caused by cancer drug treatment (chemotherapy). It works by blocking one of the body's natural substances (substance P/neurokinin 1) that causes vomiting. FDA Approval Date: 2015-09-01 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)
