Zyrtec actually worked faster & better but it was much more sedative than Allegra and couldn't function during the day. Allegra on the other hand had absolutely no sedative effects on me. I've read up about the 1st and 2nd and 3rd generation antihistamines. They tend to warn you off the first generation ones. But we have never experienced anything as drastic as this in an antihistamine, a 3rd generation. That was the last straw that brought me to this feed and I am shocked to read all these experiences. I am quitting cold turkey right now and switching to local honey and Nettie pots!
