After that there are no side affects other than increased appetite. | This is an incredible medicine just plain amazing but it is still very expensive. It works in the colon. It is superior to entocort but it will not work in the small bowel while entocort will. Sadly such few doctors prescribe it and even fewer pharmacies keep it in stock. UCERIS (BUDESONIDE): This medication is used to treat certain bowel conditions (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis). While budesonide does not cure these conditions, it may decrease symptoms such as pain and diarrhea. Budesonide is an anti-inflammatory drug (corticosteroid hormone).
