Instead I felt "high" the first month or two I took the drug. I took the XR form, so I took it at night. About three hours before my next dose was due, as the drug wore off I would feel a nervous "itchy and scratchy" feeling. Also, for the first month or so, my thyroid needed less supplementation and my temperature ran higher than usual during the day (99.2). Now I am experiencing the opposite - hypothyroidism and sleepiness that is like I am taking nothing for my thyroid! I have a great endocrinologist, and he said he had never heard of this happening. Stopped taking this drug four days ago as the hairloss is getting worse, I have constant migraines, bruising, and all over itchiness. Itchiness, feeling of acid reflux, and dehydration gone away. Enery improving.
