I thought I'd give this one a try after reading that tricyclic antidepressants have helped some people get rid of their tinnitus. Well, in my case we'll never know. The side effects were so bad (esp. the nausea, insomnia and hypothermia) that I gave up after only 4 days. The tinnitus bothers me, the Anafranil however made me really sick. Yes, there are some side-effects but there are with every medication.
