I also take Atenolol for high blood pressure, that does not help, is known to cause depression. But the weight gain and abdominal fat is the Pravachol wich I think removes the bad cholesterol from your bood and stores it in your abdominal area. | I will stop taking Pravachol but I am not going to tell my doctor, is hard to tell a doctor that you rather have a hart attack or a stroke, than live a long life of misery. I have noticed a severe lower back pain on both sides where the kidneys are located. It was so sore and extremely uncomfortable.
