I was taking ortho tri-clen LO for 4 months and although it regulated my period it definately made me gain weight and altered my mood. Although with the weight gain my boobs got bigger, I didn't enjoy the layer of fat that seemed to form all around me, especially on my stomach. I used to have a little 4 pack on my belly, now its completely gone and I truely haven't changed my eating/exercise habits. Weight gain wasn't the main reason I stopped taking it though, it was the MOOD SWINGS. I'm known for being happy and giggly person and this birth control made me feel like I was going crazy. Every month around the 10th pill i'd have unexplained uncontrollable crying. It got to the point that I would want to not go to work because I was so emotional or just go to sleep so I'd stop crying.
