Side effects not worth the slow pain relief. | I have cervical disc problems which send pain radiating from my neck down into my shoulders. I was given intra-muscular injections of Toradol, two in the neck and two in the shoulders. Injection sites were a little sore, but that quickly went away. I had some amount of pain loss for the next few days because the inflammation was leaving. However after those first couple of days I had a stiff neck and shoulders, a lot of spasm, and felt uncomfortably cold on the inside, which was scary, even though my skin felt warm and the house thermostat read 79 degrees. There was no fever, and the residual pain left after a few days.
