But I've suffered from very poor sleep for many many years, and sleeping pills and melatonin have never been of much use in this regard. With Indomethacin, however, very quickly noticed that my sleep improved, sleeping more deeply and without waking during the night. In the morning, do not feel groggy or hungover. The impression is that of relaxing my brain, rather than sedation. For me, it is a revolution of my everyday life. So the score of 5 is as an insomnia treatment, despite inability to improve my gout. My doctor has told me to take one capsule with my favorite caffeinated beverage. It will usually stop the headache in its tracks. Within 20 minutes I felt dizzy and nauseous. I laid down and proceeded to go into a full blown panic attack as I felt I was suffocating. This evolved into a paranoid psychosis where I was afraid to move and felt that I was going to die. I had auditory hallucinations and extreme sensitivity to light. My wife made me an herbal tea and I begged her not to call the ambulance, it took all my will to sip the tea and try to gain my senses. I even ripped the drawstring out of my hooded sweatshirt in fear that I would somehow kill myself with it. After 3-4 hours of shivering, crying and freaking out I slowly started to come back to earth. It took a few days to feel completely normal again. For the record I do not take any other medication at all and have never experienced anything like this in my life. All this to try to get a little swelling out of my knee.
