This is medication so in order to avoid the side effects that most people have had in this rating it is important to stop using it as described on the package. Example: Lozenges should not be used over the 12 week period. I was wondering why most people gave the Nicotine Replacement Products a low rating. After reading majority of comments I have learned that most people who had severe bad physical reaction to the NRT's have abused this medication and used it as a replacement of a cigarette over long period of time. The main goal of these products is to get off the cigarette and many hazardous poisons that tobacco contains. Nicorette and other brands can be helpful if used properly and according to guidelines.
