I also took orthortricyclen and it made me sick so this seems to be the only birth control pill my body will accept. This is pretty good I like the very short very light periods but the only problem is sometimes I do not get my period at all and that worries me...I do not enjoy spending my money on pregnancy tests. After only the second day of taking this pill, I came down with a depression. I didn't know at the time that it was all linked to Loestrin, but it made sense because all of my moodiness, anxiety, and depression sparked up at the time that I started this pill. On top of all of the emotional side-effects, I have no had my period yet, and I am now on my third pill pack. I suspect that the high progestin, low estrogen level that's in this pill is responsible, so I'm opting for one that's lower in progestin--specifically, Ovcon 35. Hopefully this works out for me!
