RITUXAN  (RITUXIMAB):  Rituximab is used to treat certain types of cancer (such as non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia). It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Rituximab is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and can decrease joint pain and swelling. It is also used to treat certain types of blood vessel disease (such as Wegener's granulomatosis, microscopic polyangiitis) and can decrease the swelling of the blood vessels.  1  R.A. headache fatigue lowered resistance didn’t sleep for days The stress over paying the co pay on this hiked up drug has far outweighed the good it did, and the hospital would not let my insurance get it at the 6 dollar co-pay I was told I had for coverage I spent the next few months trying to get better and fighting with the billing office, totally depressed and stressed out, and have been going without treatment and am having a relapse. It’s overpriced. F 61 6 months

 5  rheumatoid arthritis fatigue from the infusion. Lowered immune system for up to 2 years. This drug is the Rolls Royce of RA treatments. I took it during a study prior to market and now under my insurance. It has, along with lifestyle changes including weight loss, change of diet and exercise has brought my inflammation numbers to record lows. F 59 10 years
