| 1 | toenail fungus | Started to lose sense of taste around day 50 but didn't link it to medication. Also have lower back and left side pain. Loss of taste worsened and I started internet search and came across this site on day 63. Stopped taking drug immediately. Been off med for two days but loss of taste has worsened and even plain water tastes bad. Still have pain. | Please, if you are taking this evil drug, stop immediately. | 1 | toenail fungus | I have been off of the medication 48 days and am glad to report that the taste symptoms are improving. Water no longer tastes bad, fruit is starting to regain "tartness" and meat no longer is rancid. Not back to normal yet but definite improvement. My recovery time seems to be inverse to the amount of time I was on the med. The skeletal pains are subsiding albeit very slowly. The taste of sweet things still is abnormal and is not improving to the degree that other taste sensations are. | 1 | toenail fungus | I have been off of the medication 94 days and the sense of taste has nearly returned to normal. None of the foods taste "bad" any more and my weight has returned to normal. I would say that the return of my taste sensations are 95% back to normal. Although the bad tastes are no longer present, I don't think that my tastes are as "keen" as they should be but the improvement has been steady and for that I am grateful. Hang in there folks, it seems that the tastes will return but that it just takes time.
