1  Severe lower back pain Shortness of breath. SEVERE shaking. Increased pain. Increased anxiety. Grogginess. Stomach upset. Pounding headache. Inability to concentrate. Feeling like I am going crazy. The shakiness and headaches are the worst side effects, for me. It causes me much alarm and panic. I am very sensitive to all opiates. They, invariably, cause me to have increased anxiety and pain. I, periodically, (due to excruciating lower back pain caused from Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction), go to an E.R. to obtain a Dilaudid IV. I, stupidly, (and when in unbearable pain), will go to an E.R. to obtain an IV injection. I know that it will cause me to shake, (uncontrollably,) and to have a pounding headache. Sometimes, I do receive relief of the pain in my back. Other times, I do not. If one is sensitive to opiates, I would NOT recommend one using Dilaudid in any form. F 61 5 times

1  Severe lower back pain I had to stop taking Dilaudid (6mgs 3 x's a day), as the use of it caused me to shake, feel nauseous, have a headache, and to feel very drowsy. The use of it made me have INCREASED pain. Same as above. F 61 0 days
