1 | Depression | Brain fog, depression, vivid dreams, neck pain, absense of pleasure from life | This drug ruined the past ten months of my life and I had no idea that a tiny dosage of medicine could do this. Luckily, I stumbed on this site of reviews and everything suddenly made sense. I began taking this drug in February, 2011. I had gone through a terrible breakup and suffering from depression and anxiety. I was also going through hormone replacement and had been over-dosed on those substances. When I approached a psychiatrist I told her that my issues were hormone related but adding in the depression from the loss of the relationship, she decided to try different anti-depressants. I am very sensitive to drugs and over the course of a few weeks, this doctor asked me to try numerous things, including lithium. What a nightmare. Finally, she landed on Remeron. I began taking 15 mg and after a few weeks, weaned myself down to a fourth of the pill (3.75 mg). Each time I tried to stop taking it, the withdrawals, and combination of hormone treatment and agitation, let this doctor convince me to continue with this amount. Over the past several months, I noticed that I had lost my ability to feel anything - was completely flat and just staring into space. Exercise did not produce any feelings. After reading the reviews this week it all started to make sense. I cut the tiny dosage in half which equates to 1/8 of the 15 mg pill. In just two days I noticed changes. It's like my brain is waking up. Doctors will give you all kinds of meds with very little follow-up or commo | F | 54 | 3.75 1X D | 12/14/2011 | |
