| 4 | Atrian Fibrillation Tachychardia | I have had Atrial Fibrillation and Tachycardia since age 16. I was on Rythmol successfully for years. I was taken off of the medication and my symptoms returned. I had a catheter ablation 9 months ago. My A-fib and Tachycardia returned despite being on 240 mg per day of diltiazem (Cartizem). | I tried flecainide and had horrific dizziness and vision disturbances. I did not have these with Rythmol. I have just begun taking 225 XR bid and have hopes that it will work well again this time. I am still on the 240 XR diltiazem. It is hard to function with constant A-fib or the side effects of flecainide. My heart is healthy and I am a non-drinker non-smoker. I really hope it works again like it did before.
