 2  "high" cholesterol leg cramps, fatigue, muscle aches, flu like syndrome, abdominal pain, and memory loss. From four years ago until two I was on mevacor, and the above Sx developed. Dr changed me to Zocor 20 mg per day, but after a few months, the Sx returned. Reduced to 10mg/ day. Did better for a month, then gradual return of Sx. I consider the abdominal pain, cramps and muscle weakness sometimes w fever typical of this drug. All this to move cholesteol from 215 to 195.I finally stopped yesterday. M 71 2 years
