I had chest pain and head fog and blurred vision, told my dr. he ignored it and did nothing. After about 3 months he switched to metoprol-xl. For a year I just dealt with the symptoms telling my dr. he kept saying it was my diabetes not the meds. About a year ago I had to go to ER for cold chills across my shoulders and chest with chest pain and shortness of breath. After the stay and a heart Cather I was cleared of and heart problem, I ask again about the meds the cardiology said he didn't think so. About 6 months ago I started whizzing with a neck and chest pain. The whizzing is like I have asthma is all the time and shortness of breath with mild excretion. Also about 6 months ago I started gaining weight about 14 pounds with a bloated stomach my diet is very clean because of my health problems and no matter what I do I can’t lose 1 pound. For the last 2 months I have been feeling really bad, been to the ER twice. Found no problem I am taking nitro taps for the chest pain, if not for that I would probably be going back to the ER. The ER doctor put me on lisinopril 25 mg, I tried it for 7 days felt like I was dying called my dr. and told him my problems the nurse said she would give him the message but I didn't hear from him, so I stopped taking them. I am now back on Toprol-XL 50 mg. My cardiology is weaning me down I have went from 50 mg to 25 mg it’s been 5 days I still fee | M | 53 | 2.5 years 25 1X D | 6/2/2010 | |

Went down to 25 mg for 8 days, just went down to 12.5 mg this morning, still feel bad. | Please someone help me with some information. I droped down to 12.5 mg of toprol XL, How long do I stay on this amount and what do I drop down to now. I just started on 20 mg of benicar, my BP runs 124/77 or less all the time the high is 134/88, not often. My puse runs 90 to 72 most of the time around 78. I am sarting an all raw food diet.For the past 4 weeks I've cut out all sugar, salt, white flour all sweets. Only meat is Tuna and salmon. I need to know if this horrible feeling is going to ever stop, could I have done permanant damage. Heart Doc said my heart is find.
