| 1 | Asthma | I did not take this but my boyfriend's grandma has taken this off and on for years, and has developed paranoid schitzophrenia from it. She is awful to live with! She constantly thinks the neighbors, family, everyone is plotting against her! She thinks that the home health aid people are trying to "get her" and she thinks she is being poisoned. With the economy as bad as it is with the bank failures, she thinks that the govt is going to keep her $30,000 in the bank. I don't know whether I still have original problem . All I know is I feel really bad . I am a strong person but this has knocked me completely . I will be on it for the next ten -12 months if they ween me off slowly , I don't know . All I know is I had bad aches and pains at night , some headaches , they diagnosed me with poly/ giant cell artritis . And prednisalone turned me into a sick , incapacitated , barely functioning person . I still don't know whether I will be cured . Never again, if there is an alternative . If they told me I would be like this for the rest of my life .
