| 1 | High blood pressure | I had chest pain, loss of breath and insomnia with very high blood pressure | I took the medication for a few days and started feeling very funny visited the pcp 3 times within a week complaining of symptoms since this the only medication I take and was told to increase dose to 200 g and symptoms will change but with the effect on my body I requested the medication to be changed. The new medication has improved my BP but now having arm pain and skip heart beat which I am trying to see a cardiologist for. My blood pressure seemed to stabilize after he was a few weeks old, so I quit taking it. Within a few days I felt awful, so went to the ER with a BP of 188/121. Went back on it, but it didn't help my BP, so doctor doubled my dose to 400mg bid. Within a month I went back because I felt awful all of the time. I'd wake up feeling like I was suffocating, and my heart rate would be 50.My BP was stable, but my liver enzymes were extremely elevated and causing liver failure. I cut back for ten days and liver enzymes dropped almost in half. I finally found a doctor that would work with me and switched, because my doctor refused to change my prescription and wouldn't listen to me when I told him how I was feeling. I've not taken it for two days now, and I still feel awful. After reading all these reviews I feel so much better. I've been so depressed and just feeling like I was crazy.
