1  Postpartum hypertension Blurry vision, vision changes anxiety increased, muscle twitching, palpitations, dizziness, increased heart rate when standing, tingling in scalp Was fine taking it the first week or two then started to feel all the side effects. Kept my BP at a good 120-130’s/80-90’s but I felt weird constantly and not myself. Was in and out of doctors and hospital because of the anxiety and symptoms it caused. Plan to stop taking it in a week or so F 22 1 months

1  High blood pressure Tingly scalp itching extremely bad all over, fatigue, many many more to list but my 24 yr girlfriend died of an aneurism and a stroke, she was on this medication 2 different times during two different pregnancys and always told me this medication is very bad. All the side effects or reactions were not realized untill afterwards and also resulted in two of her kids bieng taken by cps for a dirty drug test for methanphetimines just exactly at 1000ml when it becomes a positive at exactly 1000ml 6 months after she stopped taking this medication she died from such an extreme stroke and aneurysm! This drug should absolutely be recalled and is dangerous! It causes bradycardia which my daughter was born with 3 months premature, while given this medication and i firmly believe its a direct result of my girlfriends death and i will not rest or give up until i can prove it and its recalled. DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG! THIS DRUG IS VERY VERY BAD AND IS A DIRECT RESULT OF THIS DRUG MY 24 YR OLD GIRLFRIEND PASSED AWAY FROM A ANEURISM AND A STROKE! WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE SHE TOLD ME THIS MEDICATION IS VERY BAD AND I INTEND ON PROVING IT. F 24 100 days

1  Chronic hypertension Chest pain, headaches, extremely dizzy, arm pain leg pain, pain through out body, occasionally tight chest, changed vision, fatigued Started labetalol after having my second child. Was given high dosage due to extreme high blood pressure. I've been on it for 4 months and not a day goes by where I don't have a side effect. I'm constantly in pain, dizzy and extremely exhausted. I've also had stomach issues. Body doesn't feel the same as it once did. But this medication has helped with my BP side effects are just powerful. F 26 4 months

1  High BP Helped bring down blood pressure, but side effects made it unbearable. Caused palpitations and intense pain in chest (where heart is), had to go to ER for it and they said it was due to GERD. (Never had issues with that before.) could not sleep well on it, woke up gasping for air. Scary. F 27 2 weeks

2  Postpartum HBP Shortness of breath, insomnia, extremely tired, tingling scalp, body weakness, shaking at night I went to ER due to shortness of breath and was dismissed now reading the reviews I know it’s the medication I never wanna take this again. The night shakes and shortness of breath is horrible. If I’m not resting after my c-section how will my BP go down or heal properly? This medication needs to be re-evaluated F 28 2 weeks

4  Neurocardiogenic Syncope None I was switched from metoprolol to labetalol when I became pregnant. I have no complaints so far. Metoprolol worked great for me, as far as keeping my fainting at bay, but it made me so tired. I felt a huge energy increase when I started labetalol. I haven't experienced any fainting with it so far. F 29 5 months

2  Hbp Chest pain/tightness on left side of my chest, dizziness, lightheadedness, shortness of breathe, feeling like I am about to faint. Sent me to ER twice because I thought I might be having a heart attack or stroke... No one warned me about this or I would have stayed on lisinopril/HCTZ it worked just fine. F 29 1 months

3  High Blood pressure and heart rate Tingly scalp, itchy scalp, severe anxiety at night, shortness of breath at night, insomnia, and waking up not being able to breathe. I also get swollen feet occasionally. Left upper shoulder pain. I don't see my doctor for another month. It does lower my BP. I was hitting in the 150/85 everyday. This lowers it to around 117/77 or 130/70. I'm going to push through the month to see if the side effects disappear. F 30 6 days
