In the beginning it was great for that. My body became dependent on it and it definitely caused big spikes in anxiety. I finally tapered and got off it three months ago, but am still feeling symptoms of withdrawal. My vote is stay away from this drug! But I was still feeling dizzy the next morning, with confusion and excitation during the day. I don't even think that it's making me sleep, I just feel high, not rested. I am a naturally high strung person, and this lets me drift into slumber, predictably each night. I was able to reduce my dosage in 2015, as my overall mental state had improved. I have never had its effects diminish.
