It did the job, but wow, it certainly did a number on me. I had to call my dentist and ask him if he felt I could safely skip day 10, thankfully he said yes. I fully expected gastrointestinal side effects to one degree or another even while taking it with food and eating yogurt once a day, but got completely side-swiped by the psychological ones. I'm fairly certain it's the Augmentin as I'm 2 days off them and back to pre-antibiotic anxiety levels (thank god!) and the gastro effects are finally starting to settle down. This will probably help get rid of your bacterial infection a great deal; just be prepared for the possibility of psychological side effects I and other users have reported.
