Horrible all over body rash, itching that never ceases, all limbs are hot to touch, and constant chills. Took this for a cat bite. On the first full day noticed chills, followed a few hours later by a rash on entire body. The itching and chills make it impossible to sleep. 2	Sinus Infection	severe stomach pain, diarrhea, bloating	The pain in my ears and throat due to a sinus infection was better after second dose although a week after completing the 10 days I was back to the doc with another sinus infection. But the worst of it was the severe stomach pain, bloating, and diarrhea. I have IBS, and don't know if this made things worse. I completed the dosage eight days ago, been back to the doc once, spoke with the pharmacist, and now have a call into my gastrologist. Still having severe stomach pain which usually but does not always result in diarrhea resulting in no sleep. Good news is I'm looking forward to the scales after the bloat is gone in hopes of loosing a pound or two. Although right now, not the case. Personally I will NEVER take this medication again. 4	Puncture Wound (stepped on a screw)	Severe headache (almost a "burning" feeling in the middle/left side of my brain), acute blind spots in right eye only, dizziness, fatigue, extremely sensitive to light.	I'm on day 2 of taking this medication, I had a severe headache, blindspots, and felt woozie when I first took it last night. My father and his mother both have penicillin allergies, but I did not have a problem with that as a child. After about 1-2 hours of ingestion, headache started, headache got severe after I looked at the tv for a few moments (too bright), the tv brightness in conjunction with my headache had given me acute blindspots for about 1-2 hours and was extremely sensitive to bright lights. I had to lie down (felt woozie still) with the lights off, eventually fell to sleep. Today I took the medication, split the 875 MG pill in half, took each half-pill 1 hour apart from the other, and also ate a bagel with plain cream cheese and coffee with it. (Not sure if plain cream cheese counts as a probiotic or not??) I'm MUCH more able to function today at work and had only a mild/very dull headache and felt only a LITTLE "out of it" for about the first hour, but that has all gone away already. I still have to take the medicine twice a day for 5 days total. I will make sure to eat something heavy, like a bagel and cream cheese before/while taking this medication, or some kind of bread and organic yogurt for the next 3 days. 4	Sinus Infection	So glad I found this site. Taking with food and no real problems- a little bloating but no pain after 4 days. But the real problem has been the lethargy and depression! I was a little freaked out and worried,but now I will take it in stride. I had a sinus infection that went too long,since I was using homeopathy to clear it, which often works, but not this time, so I know I have a set in infection, complete with a very bad eye twitch, which I am also glad to know is related to a sinus infection. SO I have lethargy, fatigue, and a bit of sleep disruption but I was also sicker than I realized, so I'll accept my fate, knowing sinus infections are hard to clear and need longer treatment.	Try to take it as prescribed- with a full meal, and get your probiotics. And rest. You've been sick. If you get a rash or serious gastrointestinal issues, as some , have, stop and call your doctor immediately. A rash signals an allergy to the drug, so subsequent doses are very dangerous. 4	Cat Scratch Fever	Diarrhea	This medicine helped my condition, but it is hard on the stomach. I recommend taking it with substantial food, not on an empty stomach. I took it with something light, and it really upset the stomach. When I first started taking it, the diarrhea was not that bad, but it was towards the last 2 days. 4	Sinus Infection	Diarrhea several times a day throughout the whole 17 days; Nausea, Mild Gastritis; and Headaches.	Allergist prescribed Augmentin 875 twice a day for 20 days. On day 17 I had an ENT appt and when I told him my symptoms, he said I should stop taking the antibiotic. Normal course is 10 days, but he said my allergist tends to put patients on longer especially if they have chronic sinus infections. I have trouble swallowing tablets and these were horse pills! I tried the suspension and it was disgustingly sweet. Tried crushing tablets with a mortar and pestle, then sprinkled the antibiotic on spicy foods, such as minestrone, baked pasta, even a cheeseburger, and that made taking the crushed tablets taste OK. 2	Sinusitis	Severe stomach upset	If you have GERD or any GI problems this is NOT the antibiotic for you. I had 2 VIOLENT attacks that had me doubled over in pain for over 30 minutes (which seems like a lifetime when you are being stabbed with pain in your epigastric area). I take the medication with food and take a probiotic between doses but it doesn't matter. Yesterday (Day 7 on the pills) I vomited up my lunch after being in severe pain. 3	Perianal abscess/fistula	Was fine from day 1 to day 10. On the 10th day, I experienced itching on the back, side of rib cage, and belly. Itching would become intense at night. Day 11, noticed a rash on belly and took only half dose. Itching is very intense. Physician says to stop taking it. Was supposed to take it for 30 days.	Seems like 875 twice a day is a lot. 1	Sinus and Ear Infection	The first ten minutes after taking this med. I experienced anxiety and light-headedness. I felt really tired, but couldn't stay in one spot. I called my Mom and she told me to stop taking it, the doc gave me too high of a dose. I've taken AUGMENTIN in the past but I don't remember it being this bad. I've taken this medicine for sinus infections before. Its the "mother" of all antibiotics germs run! Make sure to eat a full hearty meal with your dosage. 1	sinus infection	Horrible stomach pains, constant diarrhea, numbness in left cheek and forehead, exhaustion, insomnia due to stomach pains, horrible dreams when I could sleep, labored breathing, confused, nervous, anxious, irritable, constantly tired and wore out.	I had a bad sinus infection. I get these a few times a year and my doc usually gives me zpac which always works fine for me. For some reason he gave me Augmentin since he thought it was pretty severe. Well I will never ever take this again. I actually thought I was going to die at times. The combination of the symptoms I described were just brutal and very scary. Especially the numbness in my face. I thought I was going to have a stroke or had bellspalsy for god sake. I've repeatedly had to take Augmentin after the shot didn't work (I always ask for the shot hoping it will make me feel better faster, it never works...). Augmentin always clears up infection and usually works quite quickly. However, it will ALWAYS make you nauseous if you don't take it with food!! 1	Sinus Infection	on day 4 I experienced cramping in my back and stomach-severe enough to make me think I was having back spasms or kidney problems. However, the back pain was accompanied by strange stomach cramping and having to use the bathroom frequently, although no diarrhea. Had to lie on the floor for over 6 hours to keep my back from spasming. I decided not to take my second does and am feeling better. 4	Sinus Infection	No intestinal issues. Rash, Hives, itchy soles of feet and palms of hands.	I took complete 10 day course of 875mg Augmentin. 24 hours after the last pill was taken, I developed severely itchy soles of my feet and palms. 12 hours later had large bright red welts of hives across my abdomen and chest...It looked like someone had beat me with a narrow belt! Hives have come and gone over the past five days, mostly on arms, chest, and groin area. Itchiness comes and goes during the day. Called my doctor and talked to the nurse, and she said these symptoms were likely due to the Augmentin. I asked why I didn't have immediate symptoms, instead after the course of treatment was completed? She said I may have developed a gradual intolerance to it. I have taken Augmentin in the past with no ill effects, so I guess my body has built up a gradual intolerance? 4	Chronic Sinus Infection	The only side effects I experienced were on day 3 of my 5 day course when I took my morning dose with cereal and milk rather than something more substantial like grits or a peanut butter sandwich. Not taken with a good meal it did give me gas and slight stomach cramps, but nothing too horrible. It worked really well on my sinus Infection and by day 4 I was feeling much, much better. I took both doses on day four and had a friend watch me that night because I felt slightly suicidal. I could not sleep, I had horrible night sweats, vivid dreams, bad chills, and I ran a low grade fever the entire time I took it. It cleared up the sinus infection so far- still have the sniffuls, but no congestion, no more pain- however- with this antibiotic- I would rather have still had the sinus infection and it was severe- with a high fever. I am now on my 4th dose out of 20 (2x per day for 10 days) and just finished a hard cardio workout for the first time in weeks. Augmentin is just revved up amox. so it's nothing to be afraid of unless you are allergic to ammox. Just take a probiotic the whole time and take it with a meal and you'll be fine. I saw no improvement in my sinus symptoms until day 5 - I am not at day 6 and am finally starting to feel like my sinuses are improving. I did however see an immediate improvement in my mild acne which was a pleaseant surprise. I also experienced severe neck pain with this drug on day 3 often feel waves of nausea. 4	Ear and Sinus Infection	Stomach cramps, diarrhea, and headaches in the morning.	This medication is probably best taken before or after a meal to have something in your stomach. A few times hanging out with my girlfriend I took the medication with a glass of milk or water and that was usually the nights I'd get gas, cramps, and eventually diarrhea. I seriously thought there was something very wrong with me. I have never taken an antibiotic where I didn't feel better within a few days of starting the drug. I actually feel a LOT worse than when I started it (when I was diagnosed with early pneumonia!) I am exhausted...I'm constantly nauseated...but most important, I feel like I'm walking around with the flu. I'm going to call my pharmacist and see if they will put me on something else to finish off the dose. 3	Diverticulitis	back pain between the shoulder blades, level of 4 to 5.	I actually went to the chiropractor thinking this pain was something in my back. I figured it was the augmentin when I got adjusted twice and the pain didn't go away in the 3 days after getting adjusted. Getting adjusted usually feels great and works very very well. I skipped the augmentin for 1 day after the second adjustment, and noticed the pain went away. I started the augmentin up again the following day and the pain CAME RIGHT BACK, same area, same level. I am not sure why my doctor gave me this instead of the regular amoxicillan. My strep (sore throat part) seemed to disappear after being on the meds for 3 days. Nasal passages cleared up quickly too. However, by the 5th day, I was feeling very mild/weak pain in my kidney area. Headaches still, always thirsty, and nothing tastes right. I have to take this for 10 days and hoping to make it. 1	Possible Ear Infection	Horrible diarrhea and bloating, crying jags, depression (clinically diagnosed depressed folks, BEWARE!), weakness, flu-like symptoms)	God bless anyone that can wing it for the entire 10-days (or more, God love ya!). I quit at dose 1 of the 7th day. Today is what would have been day 10, and my joints ache, I'm super depressed, my head hurts badly - with no relief from OTC's, my head is swimming, and I generally fell "unwell." I supplemented with probiotics and citrucel to manage the loose stools, but the drug wiped out everything else in my body; good, bad, and indifferent. I am feeling horrible and flu-like, and am due to take a pleasure trip in 7 days. I have been calling prayer lines, meditating, and repeating positive affirmations to get me through this. 2	Sinus Infection	Exhaustion, heart palpitations, dizziness, trembling, increased hunger, irritable bowel, gas, hot flashes, anxiety, insomnia, confusion. Headaches, although not sure if related to ongoing infection or the antibiotic.	I realized that I had a sinus infection after a week of constant worsening headaches with no relief. Went to the doc and since he felt my sinus infection was in the bone he prescribed Augmention 875. I have been taking it for a week now and am still having horrible sinus pain, which you'd think with this heavy duty drug it would knock the infection out pretty quickly. I still have a week left and am not sure how I will deal with it. I feel like I have the flu! My eyes are sunken in, and I have huge purple circles under my eyes from exhaustion. I am shaky and sweaty and hungry and gassy. Not to mention the insomnia. I have never taken an antibiotic that has made me wonder if I didn't have something more serious than what I was diagnosed as having! I would rather have surgery than take this again. 3	Abscess tooth / possibly sinus	Back of my legs feel achey.	I was put on penacillin(sp) for an abcsess tooth I had pulled Monday, however, when the tooth was pulled it interrupted my sinuses so after an ER visit I was put on augmentin 875 twice a day to rid any possible sinus problem and abcsess. Today the back of my legs feel sore, like I ran too much or something. I've also been spacey and sleeping nonstop but I am not sure if it is the antibiotic or percocet I was prescribed doing this. I also feel a bit under the weather, but I cannot eat much due to my tooth and again am not sure if it's from antiboitic or percocet. I guess I will see as it goes.	F	19	2 days		8/26/2009
3	Sinus Infection	Slight dizziness, numbness around skull, insomnia, some knee joint swelling, rash, hives, constant itching, shortness of breath, loose stool	I had been taking for 1 week and had an upset stomach one night. Took some Diotame (equivalent-Pepto bismol)and broke out in hives on chest and neck. Researched it afterwards an understood that it had an ingredient increased the potency of Augmentin. Bottom line - check before you take anything even OTC drugs. Took 5 days for hives to settle down and for me to get decent sleep again - pretty miserable for a while. Knee joint swelled up for no apparent reason - lasted for 2-3 days. It didn't hurt but and was afraid to do much for fear of causing injury. Experienced some trouble breathing at night during the hives so called the doctor. The doctors ARNP offered me a sleep aid (Valium). I declined and it wasn't until afterward I realized my breathing problems were probably because of the allergic reaction I was having. She didn't ask many questions just kept offering the valium so I would go away. Luckily it wasn't serious but I was a little ticked off at her and realized your’e the only one that is watching out for yourself sometimes. Undecided if I would take this again on a 30 day regimen until I see how it works. So far I have some draining of my sinuses and the CT scan will tell all in the end.	M	50	15 days		8/26/2009
1	Sinusitis	Severe stomach pain and bloating after 3 doses.	I'm writing this before I've even found out whether the doc will allow me to stop. I have a diagnosis of IBS from years ago. I should have told them not to give me this, but I was only asked about allergies. I was on amoxicillin alone for another sinus infection a couple of months ago. 1	kidney infection due to stone remov	Extreme fatigue and weakness, terrible headache, nausea, slight dizziness, low grade fever, now dissipating. Just want to sleep all the time. Going on 1 week with these symptoms. Research says can take 2-3 weeks to get over this hypersensitive reaction.	I don't recommend this to anyone sensitive to penicillin, even if you're not actually allergic. It's over kill. These sides effects have kept me from working. The worse part is that the infection is gone but I still feel like I'm sick.I can't get on with my life. 4	Strep, UTI/Bladder Infection	Diarrhea, stomach discomfort, bloated feeling, tired all the time	I've only taken augmentin a few times - and for only 4 days max. I was given this after being given cipro one week, and bactrim the next - both ineffective because my bladder infection was being caused by strep. I'm in day 7 of 10 days. I started having trouble on day 2. I could almost deal with the stomach discomfort (pain, bloating, and running to the bathroom all the time) if I didn't feel so TIRED all the time. Definitely have yogurt every day when you are on this - it seems to help a little. Also - keep eating. I feel the best in the afternoon. The weird thing is I didn´t *really* experience the side affects until 4 days in, when it caused other infections to pop up. 2	sinus infection, acute	extreme sleepiness, deep depression,	As a longtime cancer patient, I make it my business to research drugs. For an acute (meaning not chronic) sinus infection, this drug is no more effective than plain Amoxicillin and has far more "side effects" (they're are no side effects, just effects). I slept 18-20 hours out of 24. Couldn't function. The depression was so deep, I felt absolutely hopeless. I told the doctor this was too much drug for such a tiny person - usually I win the argument, but this time I relented b/c I felt so bad. My sinuses got worse on this drug. By the fourth pill, I said "enough!" I researched sinus infections, found what i needed and asked for Amoxicillin. Felt better next day, on way to health in 2 days. I thought to break this horse pill in half at the beginning, knowing that it's ridiculous to prescribe 875 mg. of anything to both, say, a 300 pound man and a 119 pound woman. It's just illogical. 5	Sinus Infection	None! I was expecting some side effects, but didn't have any. I would definitely take this drug again if neeeded.	I took twice a day - after eating breakfast and dinner. I took for 3 weeks. It helped my sinus infection and I had no side effects whatsoever. I bought probiotics (MegaFlor) just in case, but didn't really need them. 5	stingray wound infection	Minor loss of appetite. I had already taken a one week course of Keflex(cephalexin) & experienced severe anxiety so I was leary of taking another antibiotic. I have IBS so I was very careful w/my diet and ate very bland food and took probiotics.	You can most likely avoid diarrhea and stomach upset if you eat the BRAT diet, take a strong probiotic along with eating yogurt, kefir, and kombucha which all have beneficial bacteria. I have IBS and am prone to vaginal yeast infections and had mild loss of appetite while on this medicine. By taking precautions, I avoided most negative side effects. 4	Impetigo, Ecthyma (strep bacteria)	Very tired, even extra coffee. Limbs felt heavy. Unmotivated, lethargic. Nausea, but not to the point of throwing up, just queasy.	The side effects would be strongest 30 mins after taking it, and then get better steadily. Mostly gone after 8 hours or so, coming again at re-dose. I tried to time it for when I was sleeping or not as busy, but 18 out of 24 hours of extreme tiredness is a lot to handle. 3	Sinus Infection	Diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, joint pain, hot flashes, vivid dreams	I started a course of Augmentin 875mg BID on 5/12. I had called my PCP and she couldnt get me into the office so I described my symptoms and she called the script in. Being a RN I should have thought about what she was giving me becuase I know the side effects but I was so sick I really didnt care; I just wanted to feel better. About 2 hours after the first dose the explosive diarrhea started. I have never experienced anything like this. It was HORRIBLE! Even though I took Immodium before work the next day I was still going about 10-12 times in a 10 hour shift. I took my last dose on 5/14 (only once that day)and still have the diarrhea. Not as bad though. I continue to eat Activia everyday to avoid a yeast infection. The Augmentin knocked out my sinus infection in about a day but is killing me below the neck. I called my PCP yesterday and got switched over to Levaquin for the next 7 days to finish the course of antibiotics. I didnt take any antibiotic yesterday to see if I could get my stomache to settle down...no luck. Im still having hot flashes, nausea and the vivid dreams too. My joint pain is slowly resolving. 1	Sinusitis	Nausea, vivid dreams, loss of appetite, yeast infections, diarrhea	For my third sinus infection in six weeks I was finally able to convince a doctor to give me an antibiotic to treat it as a bacterial infection. Three days later I felt fine, minus some diarrhea. The next day it felt like I had gotten a chemical peel on my labia due to the raging external/internal yeast infection I had developed. I had also gotten a huge hemorrhoid from the crazy diarrhea. The day after that I developed a rectal yeast infection. Essentially this drug cured me from the neck up, destroyed me from the waist down. Plus, as it has the clavulanate in it, it could not qualify for the ShopRite free antibiotic program, nor was it eligible for any of the $4 programs. I paid $90 to get worse.	F	26	10 days		5/14/2009

I took one tablet of Augmentin 875 this morning after breakfast. In an hour I was itching all over and sweating. I looked in the mirror and I had a red rash and began feeling nervous. I tried to take a cool shower but then I had trouble breathing. I decided to head to the hospital on the way I couldn't stand up I had severe dizziness and broke out in sever sweats. I had to lay down on the sidewalk while a passerby called a taxi for me. I could hardly hold my head up. Then I experienced diarrhea. I got to the ER and collapsed. I was given an injection to counter the Augmentin. While laying in the ER bed my legs began to tremor. They checked my hospital records and about a year ago I had been given the same drug for another sinus infection, but I can remember no real side effects at that time. 1	Sinus Infection	I had been taking probiotics before because I was on doxycycline for acne so I was familiar with the effects antibiotics caused.I ate probiotic yogurt so I did not suffer stomach upset but I will never take this drug again (even though it cleared up my infection). I felt short of breath and quite anxious the entire time I took it. (Like I worried about many things that I could not control). I've taken Z-pack for a sinus infection before and wish I could have had it again. The ENT dr. I went to did not tell me ANY of the side effects; I had to hear some of them from the pharmacist and that scared me. I am still experiencing some residual side effects after being off of it for 4 days; the ringing in my ears sometimes is very annoying and I read where that is a side effect of taking this drug. I can only hope this goes away in time. The pesky mild yeast infection was annoying too, even though I did all the right things with the probiotics tabs and yogurt, I still got one. No cramping though. The first 4 days my skin on my face, neck, chest, and upper arms was red and felt hot to the touch. I have been having very weird, vivid dreams for the entire 10 days, which is very unusual for me. At times I have felt very light headed and have even felt like I could not focus or concentrate. Have been having bouts of tiredness. The first few days I had no appetite at all, then I got a HUGE appetite. (Maybe my body thought it was STARVING since everything passed through it so quickly!!...) In spite of all this, it DID knock out my nasty sinus infection very quickly. 1	sinus infection	marked fatigue, joint pain, dry red eyes, and, worst of all, loose stools for the entire 10 day course of treatment, with severe diarrhea following both the first full day of treatment and yesterday, the last full day of it.	I was unable to make it to my primary care physician when I was unwell and had to go to the local immediate health care center (affiliated with one of the nearby hospitals). the physician there diagnosed me with a sinus infection and wrote me a script for Augmentin 875. given how I was feeling and that it was the Easter weekend, I had no choice but to start taking the stuff. that said, I'm not sure if my sinus infection has been fully cleared up, I feel, in many respects, worse than when I started on the drug, and will probably need to see my doctor tomorrow. I wonder if he would have written the same script ... 3	sinus infection possible bronchitis	Hallucinations, strange dreams, stomach cramps, very hot, heartburn, not able to sleep, loss of appetitie (plus for me), weakness, and cramping. (I always took with a large meal- no stomach upset). Lump in throat tightness in chest.	My dose- 875 mg pill 2times/day for 10 days. First day- weakness and cramping. That went away but by the second day I had the weirdest dreams. The pills were quite large for me. I would wake up in the middle of the night the few nights I could sleep with hallucinations. Very alarming. Not able to focus correctly. Seemed to work slowly. I had a loss of appetite which I actually appreciate, I had a huge lump in my neck, tightness in throat. 5	severe re-occuring sinus infection	very very mild diarrhea, yeast infection	because i have severe re-occuring sinus infections, i've built up a tolerance to many antibiotics--biaxin, cipro, amoxicillan....you name it, i've done it. as far as antibiotics go, augmentin at 875mg is top-notch in that it really kills bacteria, bad or good--hence the disappearance of my severe sinus infection and the unfortunate appearance of a yeast infection (which is annoying, but obviously, very treatable within 1-2 days). of course, as the doctor and all of the labels on the bottles warned, i did have some very very mild diarrhea, but nothing serious. so yes, there are unfortunate side effects, but nothing unexpected and they only occurred for the duration of the medication. in my experience, there were no side effects so horrible that i wouldn't take augmentin again. after all, it did the job, and i'm even somewhat resilient to antibiotics in the first place. 2	Sinusitus	Horrible stomach pain and cramps, constipation and diarrhea, aching all over stomach area and back, insomnia and extreme tiredness, difficult breathing, chills, disorientation...probably more I can't think of!	I took this once for a sinus infection, and don't remember it being so bad, but it didn't clear my infection up completely. This second time around, though, it has been a nightmare. My GI tract has NEVER been so messed up! I thought I was getting the flu or a killer virus for a while, or maybe becoming a hypochondriac. Thank God I called my pharmacist and found this website. This has been the worst experience I have EVER had taking a medication, and it is not worth the side effects. Request something else ASAP!! 4	sinus infection	extreme tiredness, bloating	if you're taking augmentin, be sure to EAT YOGURT and take the pills every twelve hours EXACTLY! it's a life saver. i took this pill about six months ago and had horrible nausea and a yeast infection, so this time i loaded on the yogurt, took the beast pill every twelve hours on the dot and was fine. with that unpleasantness eliminated, the side effects were tolerable... for the first few days, i was so exhausted it was debilitating; i slept for nearly 20 hours a day. that ended after about 3 days, leaving me just obnoxiously bloated. not my favorite pill, but it always seems to clear up the sinus infection. 4	Sinus infection	Runny stools 4 times a day, queasy stomach	In a three week period I had a bad cold followed by the flu followed by a sinus and respiratory infection. Took Augmentin along with Prednisone (steroid for my sinus inflamation issues). Since my flu had already cleaned me out, the runny stools caused by this medicine were just another chapter in the story. Funny thing though, as long as I had a full stomach I didn't have much of an issue with it but then the number of the runny stools picked up. To stop the runny stools I cut down on the "grazing" I was doing but then my stomach issues started again. I wished I had heard of the yogurt solution before now. 8 days down and 7 to go. I recommend you buy lots of extra soft Charmin and take all of the medicine you've been prescribed. I do feel much better than I did before but I just wish I could sit in a chair. 3	Throat infection	Stomach cramps, light-headed, headache, insomnia	Had a 10-day course after my infection proved resistant to z-pack. The side effects were fairly awful, and I struggled to complete the course. Taking a probiotic helped, but just barely. (Due to a milk allergy, no yogurt for me) That said, it's a drug that does what it's supposed to do. After 48 hours, the infection was under control. It seems like any bacteria in my body was absolutely obliterated by about day 5. I imagine any stubborn infection can be taken care of at the price of all stomach comfort for a few weeks. 3	Sinus infection	Bloating, loose stool, lightheadedness/minor headaches and the worst side effects: lower abdominal pain/bladder spasms (spasms and stabbing pains) with slight burning when urinating	I started taking A875 2x/day with plenty of food and milk followed by yogurt with a probiotic a few hours later as I knew going into it that I'm sensitive to antibiotics. A couple hours after taking my 10th dose (evening time) I started having terrible bladder spasms and some burning when I urinated. Then started the stabbing pains in my bladder along with the spasms. In the morning I felt like I had to urinate even when I didn't actually have to and I kept experiencing the spasms/pain. I realized that I hadn't been drinking enough water over the last couple days so I immediately started downing water and DID NOT take my morning pill. Over a few hour period the pain lessened and the spasms subsided with only having intermittent minor spasms every so often by the afternoon.
