The first day I had one bout of stomach pain and diarrhea. I am taking it a long with a probiotic 2x per day (florastor) and this has kept the stomach issues at bay. I also have yogurt w active cultures at breakfast and dinner. Have an occasional metallic taste in my mouth, not constant. It seems to have helped my pneumonia and I have only one more day to take it. Use Avelox or Levaquin if you can but beware of the potential for instantaneous calf rupture.
