I was told these are all quite normal & that I should just keep increasing dosage. I don't believe these are normal side effects & so have recently requested a change of Psychiatrist. | I believe after taking these meds I have just been stuck in a void of not experiencing life - I refuse to self harm as my uncle hung himself & I witnessed the devastation it caused the family but what people don't really understand is I live in that same devastation because I am not well & the support is minimal especially for those with BPD as many psychiatrists don't perceive those with BPD as treatable. | F | 41 | 7 years 225mg | 1/1/2017 | 1 | depression | All the usual. I have been stable on 300mg for 6 or more years. only remaining side effects are poor heat tolerance/sweating and urinary hesitancy, which is worth it for staying out of major depressive cycle | Got dx with ADHD at age 23 and the addition of stimulant (adderall) to antidepressant was a life changer. I am happy with this medication and have no plans to go off. The biggest issue is a missed dose aka withdrawal. To be noted that the withdrawal effects are quite severe: I once forgot to take it with me for a week away and I had constant nightmares and strong dizziness during the day.
