Gushing to family and friends about my changed life . At the same time Prompting my boyfriend to be extremely concerned that I was so sped up acting and speaking like i had 500 cups of coffee. Sadly this positive feeling quickly faded. Within a week, I began more and more raging in violent outbursts of severe impatience , even worse than before starting it. I became unable to smile or feel joy or happy or loving barely at all, basically hurrying about, trying to take care of things, and snapping at anyone who got in my way. Sleep was also bizzare - no matter what time I took it, I would awake on the dot at same exact hour every morning , even if I only been in bed a few hours, and feel revved up though still exhausted. Took a break , tried again wirh a half dose , seemed ok but then was just more low grade angry all the time. Everyone Was appalled and kept saying why are you so angry all that time after only a week. Took a break, then tried full dose again, and had same results as first time - euphoric feelings of love and joy for everyone and for life , followed quickly and permanently by horrific anger snd irritability and sleep problems. I switched from Methylphenidate ER & Wow what a mistake.... The lamest part is that the Concerta was working tremendously well yet it wasn't a few weeks later. So I did some research and spoke with a few people and apparently the reason why it stopped working for me specifically was because I went to frys pharmacy and didnt know that the generic brand had to be a specific one for me. Due to the delivery system of the Mallinckrodt brand carried by frys and many other pharmacies was WHACK!!!! This is a big controversy with name brand and generic meds. The "OROS" Delivery system (a microscopic whole made by a lazer that slowly and properly releases the medication in order to avoid "Dose dumping") is what I needed instead I got the medication that is Delivered through the coating immediatley after ingesting which is 22% of the medication while the other 78% is delivered through the rest of your day. Nobody F**king tells you this so pay close attention if a medication is working for you and all of the sudden doesnt there could be a lot of factors that come into play. Anywho Vyvanse should be cause Novanse cause you should never take it. It sux !! | Die Vyvanse !!! Made me feel like a Zombie from the walking dead after Rick brutally mutilated them. I can still barely lift a glass with my left arm it’s that bad after a month of not taking it. Has anyone else had this happen to this severity? Ravenous appetite that’s worse when it wears off. | I started taking Vyvanse and slowly started gaining weight for no reason. All the info I could find said it decreases appetite, but that was not the case for me. At first I was more focused and motivated. I even started exercising again and getting stuff accomplished. After about a week my motivation started to wane and my weight was going up. At first I thought it was muscle gain. But then once I lost my motivation, I stopped exercising. Normally when this happens, after about a week my weight goes back down. Not this time. This time it kept creeping up. I went to refill it today and asked the pharmacist about it. I’m up 9 pounds in a month. He found some research that demonstrates that it can cause weight gain in the first month of use in specific demographics, one that I just happen to fit the mold to a T. I’ll keep trying it for a few more weeks and hope that it reverses after the initial month. Otherwise, I’m screwed! Let this be a warning to everyone to be cautious. Very. I was prescribed this drug for the purpose of ADHD. I'll start with the adverse effects that i've experienced so far as a highlight.. * Numbness of body parts. When I was sitting on my chair today 4th dose I lifted my leg. When I lifted it it was overcome with the feeling of it being asleep after resting the other leg on it for prolongued time. This was more intense. I felt tiny bubbles in the masses of hundreds climb my leg from bottom to thigh almost as if it was the speed of light. It then was relieved after. Fast forward to later today..I couldn't move that exact leg for multiple minutes. The thing is that this drug effects your body's nerve receptor's. And i've NEVER been in any form of paralasys. I am catching up with my doctor on this, but this is nothing she nor most doctors will ever tell you. These serious and other serious adverse effects are oddly common. It is a controlled substance, with amphetamine. It is very strong. The only warnings I recieved during the appointment was sleep and appetite loss...and was only checked for a minute at that for vital signs. No heart rate chart that apparently isn't required. NOTE that giving your child a drug this strong and controlled is not recognized by state as abuse, but as your children have no decision in the matter you must understand if you make this poor decision if it doesn't work well with their body's chemistry.... Pshyciatric effects: I myself am a | *Pleass read my brief, but not bried and rather in-debth description of what I, and many might and have lately felt themselves.* This controlled substance can cause severe effects that may be permanent especially with damage of the body such aa organ damage, nervouse system damage, sterotonin damage that has been discussed, chest pain, light headedness, numbness (A result of nervous system impairment that can result in muscle stiffness often for patients with this problem, of course you know at a extreme all time severe case though would be paralysis), painful penile erection (very rare more so), cold feelings due to the fact that this drug changes your blood temperature and change in pigment of skin varying from pale, red, or blue also possibly and commonly being a result of this blood temp. change and mostly located on fingers or toes, sudden wounds that aren't explained, agression, hostility, paranoia, note that thoze changes in the stae of mind are currently labeled as a rare side effect, but are actually a common thing for a lot of people probably because of how intense this drug really is. It can cause less severe effects like dry mouth, insomnia, vomiting, diarrhea and more even blurred vision and slight loss of eyesight, going hand in hand with thay of course being a less dangerous side effect. This drug is crazy and it's family members..i continue to be vigilent. Everyone else should as well. I have already experienced a sum of the intense.
