I had a boyfriend that came from a very wealthy family. Had the best education, car, travel, homes,etc. Everything was taken care of. He took this crap. He had nothing to be anxious about. If you read up on it, the pharmaceutical companies are just using your bodies to fill their pockets. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with people who are willing to parlay the inevitable ups and downs of life, for some muted pile of mud called apathy, and not "crying". So took Lexepro again but its made me weak in my arms legs getting up and i can barely walk. this didnt happen before. im still diwn and still have gastritis. Im sure its afecting the benzo as my calf muscles ache badly and im back to digest issues . im stuck nit niw knowing whats causing what. im can walk sometimes waking then go all weak again and sooooo tired. its probably affecting the benzo as these are some side effects of reducing a benzo. The lack of motivation is the most troublesome side effect. And, when I have tried to lower the dosage, or stop; The brain zaps, dizziness, headaches, stomach upset, anxiety, depression, all start within three to five days. While there are some lucky people who do not get withdrawal symptoms, I have read that some studies show that these symptoms can be worse for people who have taken the drug for a long time. Also, these studies show that withdrawal symptoms from Lexapro, and some other SSRI's, can be more intense than Benzodiazepine withdrawal. Only doctors and their patients can decide which drug is best for them.
