It's been two days since my last Cialis and my bp is 160/112! Blood pressure shot back up, Next day I went back to MD with B/P of 230/120 they rushed me to ER where they gave me a B/P pill and got it down to a safe level and sent me home.... 5 days later and I am still taking a B/P pill to keep it out of stroke levels and MD has already had to up the dosage, stomach is still upset, I have lost almost 15 lbs, vision is still a little blurry and I feel like death! I was 8 days post robotic radical prostatectomy and started taking 5mg daily and by the third day the symptoms started with shooting pains in limbs and later to total body ache and pain. In ER, only dilaudid and codine IV would relieve the pain. 3 days of pain and no one could find a cause till I started thinking that this could be a reaction and not infection. Urology put me on gababpenton (antispasmodic) and within 30 mins the pain was gone and I fell asleep. I was up for 24 hours with the pain and probably had 4.5 hours total sleep. CIALIS (TADALAFIL): Tadalafil is used to treat male sexual function problems (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). In combination with sexual stimulation, tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help a man get and keep an erection. Tadalafil is also used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). It helps to relieve symptoms of BPH such as difficulty in beginning the flow of urine, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently (including during the middle of the night). Tadalafil is thought to work by relaxing the smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder. This drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis). Practice "safe sex" such as using latex condoms.
