| 2 | fatigue, lethargy, brain fog, just a very 'blah' and spaced out feeling. It helps my abdominal pain (ulcer) but I don't think it's worth it. I can't get out of my chair barely and I have zero motivation. Feeling 'not myself.' It's not exactly anxiety or depression that I am feeling though, I feel calm. So the Doctor prescribed me to Pepcid and Protonix. After a couple days of using these drugs I started to feel nauseas and headache and then fatigue like I was coming down with a flu. Talked to my Doctor and so she switched me to Nexium. Finally got my appetite back and the Gastric pain has gotten better (not totally gone) but, the fatigue still lingers and I also developed severe anxiety and depression and dark thoughts. The weakness is unexplainable and confusing. Also I've lost weight over 10 lbs cause the lack of appetite and I feel like my muscles and bones feel weak. I'm not sure what's going on but since I started taking the medications especially nexuim thats when I started to feel these strange symptoms. I was a very healthy athlete and very health conscious person but now sometimes I can barley get out of bed let alone exercise! Please... if you have any further information about this drug or similarities please look into it or write on this site or contact me. I had those symptoms before I took the tablets and I dont believe half of what I have read here. Its not just down to one tablet all those symptoms. One said can control it with diet and exercise well should have done it before wasting doctors time. If it works you never needed treatment in the first place. That lasted a few days and that's when the depression started to develop (by this time the anxiety pretty much went away though). The depression was severe and would get worse and worse as the day went on, and would be awful most nights. This lasted for a few weeks almost every day and then faded out through changing my diet (restricted gluten, sugar, dairy, added some prebiotic foods in) and taking a strong probiotic (the pro-50 brand probiotic). It was around this time that I had two awful days of stomach pain and diarrhea. I also noticed the brain fog around this time (I believe I had it before but I didn't notice it since all of my energy was focused on the depression and the stomach issues).
