If I didn't eat my pill right after a meal, I would a feel very nauseous though. Then I started having problems. My hair was thinning badly. My skin was getting very dry & peeling off. My once very high libido died; I couldn't even orgasm. I had vaginal dryness (started using creams every day & sex hurt even with lubrication). I was thirsty all the time & just felt dehydrated. I began to feel very light-headed & almost sick (low blood-sugar) if I didn't eat every couple hours, & consequently I gained weight (like 8-10lbs). All the weight seemed to go on my tummy (like the way an older woman's would). Then after nearly four months, I began having agonizing migraines that involved nausea, sensitivity to light & sound, & pains. I would have to shut myself in a dark, quiet room for the whole day at least. I also started having tingling/numbness in my hands & feet. This is a major side effect of This medication. I Have to be on coumadin and wear compression stockings. I also have to use a cane to walk comfortably. I am 32. Please do Not take this medication. I had switched form ortho tri-cyclin because my PMS was extreme, and Yaz offered a solution to this. After 3-4 months of taking it I started developing severe headaches that would last all day. I attributed these to other causes, but a brain scan showed nothing. My libido had dropped into the negatives, and I was very upset - I'm taking this pill to have sex, and the pill is making me not want to EVER. In the last three months I was on it, I started getting hot flashes several times a day (like in menopause) and my vision and hearing changed (more blurry, extreme sensitivity to light and sound). I was dizzy all the time, fatigued, lethargic and overall sick. I researched Yaz and found that other users had ALL of these symptoms so I stopped taking it.
