I wonder how many people have died from this. | M | 50 | 3 days 75 | 3/10/2018 | 1 | Flu-like virus | Couldn't sleep, not even a little, weird feeling of skin tingling, could feel medicine "moving" throughout my body, being hyper aware of bodyily functions and processes, I was exhausted but couldn't sleep and then my body would fall asleep but not my brain and I could literally experience each stage of my body shutting down for sleep, while laying there wide awake in sleep paralysis had nightmarish visions that were utterly terrifying, shaking, tremors, made my flu 10x than it had to be, no appetite, didn't feel like myself at all, had no interest in TV or reading and couldn't do anythign I would normally do, felt disassociation with myself, lightheadedness dizzyness, and now, even though I am over the flu, I have a nagging cough and can still feel the goddamn medicine in me even though I haven't take it in about 72 hours. | This "medicine" is poison and made me stay out of work more days than I would have had to. Made my sickness worse, made me want to die and think I was dying and as though I would never recover. Day 4 of being off it and though I feel better I still don't need normal yet. I view this med as poison that disrupted my entire body and all of its systems. My sickness lasted so much longer because of this drug. I had no fever by Wed and yet still felt like shit on Friday because of the medicine. | F | 31 | 3 days 75 2X day | 3/3/2018 | 1 | Preventative | A couple hours after taking the Tamiflu, I started getting severe nausea, dizziness/fogginess/confusion, dry mouth, sore throat, severe headache - then I started having a burning/itching/prickling feeling all over my skin - scalp, face, arms, chest, hands, legs, even above my eyes (which also felt burning). I decided to discontinue and called the doctor's office, who agreed that I should discontinue in case I was having an allergic reaction. Most of the side effects went away within a day, but I still don't feel quite right and my skin is still itching and burning, similar to a sunburn (5 days later). Hoping it goes away very soon. My kids were given the medication preventatively also (my husband had the flu and we all have asthma) - I let them take it for three days (they didn't have side effects, but I looked it up online and did not want them to suffer any, not worth the risk). Loose stool every single day that i've taken it (however only got the loose stool at night) Stomach rumbled a lot while having a bowel moment. This medicine works really well! I felt sooo much better the end of the second day. The only real bad symptom I guess is the loose stool. However I can say for sure that tamiflu did help me clean out my tummy too. So after giving her her 1st dose she didn't like the taste of it, I gave her food with it. She was OK just acted kinda tired. Then after her 2 and 3rd dose I noticed she would be so tired and just not act right didn't want to eat. I mentioned that to the nurse they said it's a side effect. I still thought that was odd. Then after a couple more doses she started mumbling and acting strange and her balance was off the day I called the doctor and stopped was when she completely started hallucinating reaching for things in the air,and then when she woke up from her nap she was still really tired wouldn't sit up was like she was a doll just limb and she started twitching and shaking wasn't responding at first. I checked her temp got her calm down gave her some ibuprofen and she started acting better. I called the doctor said this isn't working and told him what was happening they said to stop immediately. Which I was already doing. I don't recommend this drug to any children. I wish I would have researched it before she took it. Now I pray she is ok because I have to check on her through out the night to make sure she is alright dosent have another reaction. May God be with those | I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Instead of the recommended dose which is 75mgs 2x day I took 37.5 every 6 hours. Pour out on counter, half the contents as best as you can using a butter knife. Tear 2 small pieces of tissue. Place halved contents in appropriate tissue and carefully fold and make a little ball. Take every six hours . I did the same with my mom, several years ago, when my dad had the flu. She began coming down with it a day after my dad and I went to take care of them. My mom is very sensitive to most medications. She had zero side effects. I have not had any either. Kicked my flu’s rear end after 3 doses! My dad tolerates medications well and took 75 mgs 2x day. He had the full blown flu! He recovered quickly without secondary infections and zero side effects. They were both age of mid 70’s at the time. I would much rather take this medication than be sick with the flu!! | Highly recommend! After reading all of the reviews of this drug, TAMIFLU,My wife and I are wondering if it's this 'drug' that's killing people, not the Flu Virus. Went to the ER knowing I was sick and severely dehydrated, but also accompanied by severe abdominal pains. I was unable to walk on my own, Every time I coughed I'd be bent over yelling in pain. After 6 hours of tests, xrays, 3 liters of IV fluids and a final CT Scan, I'm also diagnosed with not only Type B Influenza but, an upper & lower intestinal infection. Worst 3 days of my life! I Have not slept, I've barely eaten due to lack of appetite. When I've been cursed with a few minutes of sleep, I experienced horrifying nightmares that seem 'life-like'. I have only had 4 doses, my last dose being on 01/14/2018 at 11am, still awake now on 01/15/2018 at 3:30am. Still has a fever but I refuse to give her anything freaking out. The rest of the day and morning has been normal.
