Weight gain has been the main problem--accrue around 10 lbs a year. When I first started the med I called in sick to work for 3 days straight. Could not get out of the bed even to feed the children. My weekends are spent sleeping until 3pm and then I force myself out of bed to interact with the family. Tried to have sex for the first time since starting and it was strained. Took a lot of concentration on my part. I will say that I feel calmer and don't fly off the handle as before the med. But man-o-man am I always sleepy. I don't spend anytime contemplating the next minute. Even if I try to think of a bad moment, no physical effect, its like my mind doesn't respond to negative the way it did before.
