I was originally put on a different allergy drug that did help the allergies but had terrible side effects. My doctor suggested I try Singulair instead and it has greatly helped me. I do still get allergy attacks occasionally, but much less often and much less severe (just some congestion/sniffles/sore throat instead of flat on my back for days).
