| 2 | Anxiety | Sweat, weight gain, lethargy | I took this for anxiety. I would wake up in sweat..not soaked in it, but enough to be uncomfortable. I would sweat doing simple things like sweeping. In only 6 weeks, I gained weight. I read the reviews on here & told myself I would control my eating habits, which I did. I didn't change what I ate...in fact, I exercised more often and still gained weight. No matter what I ate, I could not lose the weight. It helps with anxiety, but at a cost. I'm going down to 10mg per day to see if that helps. I wanted to sleep all the time, I started binge eating again, and I couldn't go in to work one day because I was just too tired to function. Just to give everyone a heads up, I had the worst withdrawal ever on the medication. Migraine headaches, anxiety, confusion, panic attacks because I couldn't figure out what was causing the migraine headaches, hot and cold sweats. She is pregnant and her depression got worse and she was prescribed Celexa. She's been having horrifying side effects. She's also put on a decent amount of weight, more than pregnancy weight. Not just her stomach and hips (typical pregnancy weight) but everywhere... and I'm thinking Celexa might be the culprit since it can cause weight gain. She's naturally very tiny so this is a bit odd. She's been very self conscious because of this weight gain.
