First day, very tired, almost lightleaded, severe muscle cramps. But I notice that my breathing was so much better that I did not need Advair (copd). Cut pill in half the next morning and felt tired, but no muscle cramps. Next day I cut in in quarters and that seemed to work very well. I don't understand why my breathing is greatly improved to where I don't need my advair, but I'm not complaining. Will slowly build to proper dose and keep watch on my blood pressure. I'm sensitive to many drugs, so it's not easy to find one that works for me. Personally, I think that doctors go with the ordinary dosage and alot of times it's too much. AVAPRO (IRBESARTAN): Irbesartan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help protect the kidneys from damage due to diabetes. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Irbesartan belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs).
