As a newly wed, I'm using it now to both regulate my period and birth control. (Yes, most women with PCOS find it difficult to get pregnant, but it's not impossible.) Sex drive is fine. As a teen, I had pretty normal periods complete with standard PMS symptoms (cramps, mood swings, etc. but nothing too crazy) When I started showing symptoms of PCOS, my periods lasted longer (months) and I had long stretches between periods, but I had no PMS. Since I've started taking this pill, PMS symptoms have come back but not so badly that it bothers me much. My husband has noticed that my diet and physical activity makes a difference with the PMS (he's a bit of a health nut so he notices these things) and I figure PMS is better than living with a period for as long as 3-4 months. Everyone reacts differently to different BC. Great for relief from the constant pelvic pain I would experience while off that pill. I had shorter, light periods, it cleared my skin right up. On the down side I was depressed, extremely moody and sensitive. I am on my first day of Yaz. You can be I will post my feelings on that one in a couple months. Hopefully it helps someone else!
