Increased Sexual Mood. Weight gain. Dizziness. | This drug alone does not help with my OCD. I augment it with an SSRI Luvox & the Combo seemed to help me a great deal. My Sleep has been High Quality, although i have trouble waking up in the morning I can sleep an excess of 12-14 Hours a day. Still, it is better than insommnia. I have been Calmer & I abstain from doing most of my Rituals. I passed out withing ten minutes of taking seroquel, and i had a hard time waking up in the morning for school. i hated being on medication, especially because there was nothing really visible wrong with me, but my parents forced me to take it. i also felt numb a lot of the time, and there were several nights in which i didnt take my medication and experienced terrible symptoms: fatigue, dizziness, nausea, frequent vomitting, massive headaches, and i constantly slept the next day. it was like a terrible hangover, and i couldnt eat anything. i never had trouble with weight gain, though. granted, it worked for my moods, but i chose to start weening myself off of seroquel about a month a month ago. i went down 25 mg every week, and was okay. i sleep decently still, but i stopped taking it 2 days ago, and i keep getting dizzy and have headrushes. | F | 18 | 3 years 100 mg 1X day | 4/18/2012 | 3 | Severe Depression, Rumination, BPD | Weight gain, involuntary muscle twitching, grogginess, feeling tired even after I'd slept 10+ hours, some short-term memory loss, heart palpitations. | I first started taking this drug while in a hospital. I was not satisfied with this drug. If taken in the proper dosage, preferably smaller doses, in can be helpful but I don't think it is wise to take it for prolonged periods of time. I gained a significant amount of weight. For the first few months I took it it was very helpful. It helped with my mood and rumination in conjunction with prozac. I have found that it is overprescribed and that it should only be taken if absolutely necessary to avoid these side effects. It really help's him fly the world's most important man safely, across the globe. He keeps it in his side pocket, and as soon as he's stat's seeing things he pops a few hundred mg's. I think scientists should try to geneticaly engineer this molecule into the human body permanently. It makes average people feel like their alive for once in their life. Take it before dinner, take it while with friends, and give some to the kids. You know serouqel will only make them better, and never worse.
