Most people get sleepier on lower doses like 7.5mg 15Mg or 30 Mg but 45 Mg is the best for sleeping for me. Make sure you stay within your limits. 2) have willpower to not eat when you're hungry The people that gain weight on this are the ones without willpower. Folks here’s what you do to get around the hunger experienced with first going on remeron. Literally take 1/4 of a 15 milligram tablet and take that for a couple of days. Or take an 8th of a tablet if you experience hunger taking one fourth. If no increase in hunger is experienced on the micro dose then increase by another fourth up to one half tablet. Keep going up slowly until you experience no abnormal hunger. This is what I did until I got used to it. When I took an entire 15 mg pill the next day I was so hungry. But if I went super slow on going up I did not experience any unusual hunger. It is difficult to wake up in the morning and I find myself sleeping in as long as I can before I must wake up. Zoloft was not bad in terms of mood support but really noticeable urinary urgency and sexual side effects at just 50mg. Zero weight gain, BUT I already was on a very disciplined low sugar, high protein/fruit/vegetable diet. So, I have had none of the craving issues that some complain about.
