While taking this medication it made it to where I didn't care about anything and could not do anything other than sleep. Do not operate a vehicle or machinery while taking. My physical health has declined solely because of it. My sexual arousal came back but can’t be regulated which is very embarrassing sometimes. I have constant tremors and feeling chills. Lost over 30lbs in the last 2 months weaning has been so difficult at the stage I’m currently experiencing. I’m only 35 and my drs and I decided this drug is doing more harm than good after being reliant on it for 10+ years now. I much rather have the painful polyneuropathy. I felt totally out of it and kind of detached like depersonalization maybe, Within two days (two doses) my stomach burned so bad I threw them all out. Did help my pain a little bit but too scared to continue with it specially when you read the reports of a number of people in their 50's who have died sudden deaths while on it. I would never recommend this drug to anyone. | It is quite well known now that there were "issues" with some of the so called clinical trials of this drug. It worries me and amazes me that some GP's even in New Zealand where we do not yet have the excessively restrictive regulations on prescribing Opioids for pain that are in the U.SA. , that anyone would ask a patient to take this poison.
