SPORANOX (ITRACONAZOLE): Itraconazole is used to treat fungal infections. It belongs to a class of drugs known as azole antifungals. It works by stopping the growth of fungi. FDA Approval Date: 1992-09-11 (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)
