| 1 | UTI without bladder symptoms | On 2nd day(2/5) cognitive problems: spelling problems, word retrieval ,speed of processing slowed, tremor in both hands, anxiety, nervousness; impaired handwriting, decrease functional ability. Symptoms lasted 7 months.I was on it 5 days, but urine was discolored for 3 weeks. | After 7 mos. I took SAMe (OTC) for anxiety about the adverse effects. All the neurologic symptoms disappeared. I have been on it 2 weeks. I found a article on line saying women over 60 should not take antibiotics for UTI's if there are no bladder symptoms ( my case).
