Woke up feeling refreshed for a change...ready for the day. | This medicene works really good and really fast....take it and get to bed as soon as you can. I would take it about 1/2 hr. before bedtime. Took it off and on for about 3 months. Only problem is Dr. will give me no more....very habit forming. | F | 43 | 3 months | 7/10/2002 | 2 | could not stay asleep | No side effects, but woke up at 3am and ate. However, I recognize the fact that I am dependent upon this drug. I do not abuse it and after four years still take only 1 tablet. When I do not take Ambien, I have horrific nightmares. I take it regularly every night. | I do know why they advise taking Ambien for a short time because it is difficult if not impossible to come off of it. But it continues to help me to sleep and to feel rested.
