1  Swollen sinuses After a few days, I was afflicted w/ a dreadful sinus infection which lasted for weeks, the syptoms of which are much more severe than those which were supposedly being treated. Seemed to help @ first. M 76 5 days

2  Swollen sinuses First two days, I felt O.K. and noticed very little watering of my eyes and drainage into my throat; however, after those two days, I felt cloudiness in my thinking and low in spirit. When I stopped using Nasacort, I felt like my normal self again. I believe Nasacort helps with the allergies, but for some people, there are side effects. F 74 1 weeks

5  Rhinitis and stuffiness None It has been a miracle drug for me. No side effects and significant curtailment of running, dripping nose (about 90% effective when used with Benedryl and Claritin); also, significant improvement in stuffiness at night. M 73 10 years

2  Chronic nasal congestion Minor anxiety, serious inhibition of wound healing. It did relieve nasal congestion somewhat, but after 10 days I noticed that some minor cuts on my leg were not healing. After reading that wound healing inhibition is a possible side effect of Nasacort, I stopped using it and the cuts began healing normally. M 71 10 days

1  Seasonal allergies Within fifteen minutes of using product, experienced anxiety, shortness of breath and rapid heart rate. Several hours later, the symptoms have subsided but not completely. After experiencing symptoms, I immediately research side of effects of Nasacort and found that my symptoms were common. I would rather deal with seasonable allergies than to use Nasacort. F 71 1 days

1  Seasonal allergies I have bronchaiectasis, along with seasonal allergies. Nasacort was prescribed; it did more damage to my lungs, caused severe nosebleed and I ended up with infection which would not clear up and after two months, I was diagnosed with leukemia, with white cell count of 224,000. Nasacort may or may not have caused my problem but I strongly reccomend that anyone with bronchaiectasis not use it. F 70 2 weeks

4  Allergies I noticed that I was hungry more than usual, some weight gain. Also hair was shedding more than usual. And also arms and legs were itchy and burning. I am a RN and checked every other med I take and finally stopped using nazacort and all these symptoms went away. All I can say the steroids got in my system and caused these problems.I feel bad because nazacort worked as far as my allergies go,but can't deal with the side affects F 69 6 months

5  Virus that left me with ear congest Worked well at first, but didn't sleep as well. My doctor had me take 2 sprays each nostril twice a day. Really helped with nasal and ear congestion that resulted from a virus. After 3 weeks, started having nausea and stomach irritation. Today I only took 1 spray in each nostril, because I have to wean off gradually. Also, I had tooth pain . It helped with ear and nasal congestion as a result of a virus. After 3 weeks, I was better , but it had really irritated my stomach. I would recommend trying it, but iam very sensitive to medicines, so I wouldn't be able to use it again. F 68 30 days

3  Seasonal allergies I started having severe nosebleeds the second year of taking Nasacort. I cut back to 110 mcg per day and then quit taking it altogether but am still having nosebleeds. I will probably consult a physician if I continue to have nosebleeds. M 68 2 years

2  chronic stuffy nose at night oral thrush, fatigue, weakness It worked great on my nose but is not worth the side effects. I was ok with it now and then until I started using it regularly. I may try it again if I have a bad cold but I'll put up with the stuffy nose instead of these side effects. F 68 3 years
30 mg 1X day

1  Allergies Burns when sprayed in nostrils, makes me dizzy and causes anxiety and feel buzzy. I think it's elevating my blood pressure readings. Will stop taking it immediately and go back to using Flonase. F 68 7 days
6/21/2020
2  Seasonal allergies/stuffy nose Headache, stiff neck, muscle weakness (calves and hamstrings), very stiff back, anxiety, depression, brain fog. Initially Nasacort was exceptional --- none of the psychotic effects of Flonase and Nasonex and relieved allergy symptoms. That lulled me to sleep. For the last six months I have had the symptoms noted with increasing regularity. I have missed two doses and the symptoms have begun to subside. My recommendation would be to watch symptoms carefully and limit usage to short term. M 67 6 months
