I have also suffered with tendonitis, but I never tied the two together. Sadly, neither did my doctor. I kept trying to figure out what I was doing that caused the tendonitis to act up, thinking it was the shoe I was wearing or my activities. I went for physical therapy and injections of cortisone. It just kept coming back. Now, after taking Cipro for just 3 days, I experienced severe pain in my left hip, and then the soreness in the tendons. A family member did some research and told me that this could be caused by the Cipro. I called my Doctor and he told me to reduce the dose to once daily rather than twice.
