5 | heartburn | none | it works. | M | 65 | 1 days 150 mg 1X day | 12/9/2010 | 5 | Reflux | slight gas | so much easier to handle than a ppi and does a better job (for me) tried omeprazole, nexium, prevacid and aciphex and all were about the same as this for reflux but all of them (bar this) raised my bp in to the stratosphere | M | 31 | 100 days 150 2X day | 8/16/2011 | 5 | GERD | PRESCRIPTION GRADE RANITIDINE WORKS BETTER THAN OTC BUT, EITHER WORKS BETTER THAN ANY PPI FOR ME .LESS LONGTERM EFFECTS FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS TO TAKE FOR LIFE. PLUS, CHEAP WITH A PRESCRIPTION I PAY 10.00 FOR 3 MONTHS AT WAL-MART | M | 38 | 8 months 150X2 | 2/6/2013 | 5 | Acid Reflux | None | I swear by this drug. It is the only thing that works for me. I have tried all the others but none have worked as well. | M | 31 | 10 years | 10/15/2005 | 5 | genital herpies | All my sores went away and my girlfriend believed they were just chaffing from by bathing suit. I'm back in the sack baby! | It's great for anyone wanting to fool your girlfriend or hide embarassing sores due to herpies. I just crush it up and apply to the red areas and BAM! It's all good:) | M | 45 | 60 days | 2/23/2008 | 5 | h-pylori infection | none | im hypersensitive to meds and this one is great, actually helps lower blood pressure and pulse | M | 3 weeks | 6/29/2008 | 5 | As needed for ulcers | None, but I don't take it every day. | I am very happy with this drug which I only a few times a month. | M | 37 | 60 times 150 mg 1X day | 9/30/2014 | 5 | Reflux, heartburn | None - I take 75mg at bedtime | Very effective at low dose | M | 51 | 1 years 75 mg 1X day | 7/22/2015 | 5 | Heartburn, acid reflux | Heartburn relief | No more than 15 to 20 minutes after taking one tablet per day I get almost immediate relief from my heart burn I've been taking a little over a year now and I'm very pleased with this product I've never had to use more than one and I've never experienced any side effects other than the relief of heartburn pain thanks zantac you're the best | M | 21 | 1 years | 8/14/2015 | 5 | Acid reflux | Muscle cramps seems like only when I take it but I still love it it works better faster than anything else I've ever taken | M | 52 | 5 weeks 150 | 4/5/2016 | 5 | yes | None | Excellent, Heartburn Gone | M | 76 | 1 years | 6/1/2016 | 4 | Acid Reflux | Mainly just gas, it was not anything inconvienient to be honest. When the gas kicked in, I knew the medication was working. | As far as acid reducers go, I'm lucky enough to have found this one. I have tried Prilosec and Pepcid Complete with little to no sucess. It works well. | M | 25 | 6 months | 7/13/2009 | 4 | GERD | Nightmares | I have found that taking a generic (Sainsbury's) ranitidine 75mg around 8pm in the evening gives me relief from heartburn for around 24 hours. If I forget to take it I will wake up around 2am with severe heartburn so I am confident it is doing something. Very low cost, around £1 for 12 tablets. I have seen my doctor who says it is OK to keep teking it, but to go back and see her if anything changes, they may decide to do an internal endoscope examination. But for now I'm happy to carry on with the single daily dose. | M | 56 | 60 days 75mg 1X day | 11/20/2013 | 4 | reflux | gas | good product. helped my stomach a lot. Less burning pain, but more gas. | M | 16 | 4 months | 10/27/2005 | 4 | Gerd | None | M | 28 | 1 years 150mg | 10/8/2012 | 4 | Gastritis | Headaches for the last 2 days...will continue to see if there is any improvement over the next several days. | Have taken every brand of PPI's and H2 drugs on and off over the last 8 years. All of the drugs improved my stomach related issues, but all have caused me heart arrhythmia and other symptoms mentioned on this site. (tachycardia, PVCs, PACs, insomnia, sweats). I have refused to take any of these meds for this reason, but it seems I have no other options at this time of need.. So. I'm taking Zantac again, but have since found that adding a magnesium supplement of 200mg /day (which is less than the RDA) seems to prevent the arrhythmia. (knock on wood) and other symptoms. A holistic doctor told me about the magnesium and acid reducers. Most people do not get adequate magnesium in their diets and the acid reducers deplete the level even more. You need to take specific brands of magnesium for best absorption. Check this link regarding the FDA notice on magnesium and acid reducers. arthritisselfmanagement.com/newsletter/03-10-2011/new-fda-warning-on-acid-reducers/ | M | 50 | 5 days 150mg 2X day | 8/31/2011 | 4 | GERD/Hiatal hernia | Constipation, blurred vision, eye redness. | I took this medication before bed and found it effective in preventing acid reflux. I have been taking cider vinegar and also find this to be effective at reducing reflux, and so have discontinued ranitidine. | M | 60 | 4 months 150 mg 1X day | 9/12/2010 | 4 | M | 20 | 3 months | 4/4/2001 | 3 | heartburn | M | 47 | 8 days 300mg 1X day | 3/20/2011 | 3 | Acid Reflux | Lose stools, Belching , feeling bloated and sick a lot of the time almost seems as when I go to the loo food is only partly digested. | It certainly does its job I would rather the symptoms I can cope with them a lot better than the Acid Reflux pain | M | 26 | 7 days 150mg 2X day | 8/4/2013 Patient History |
